The front end of the emitter of the tool head of the ultrasonic vibrating rod is close to the outside wall of the kettle or extends into the kettle chamber of the kettle body. The ultrasonic transducer can send ultrasonic waves to the chemical reactants in the kettle chamber. The processed liquid can change the activity of the reaction system and destroy the chemical reactants in the kettle chamber due to the cavitation of the ultrasonic wave. The structure of solvents produces instantaneous high temperature and pressure sufficient to initiate chemical reactions, forming local high energy centers and promoting the smooth progress of chemical reactions. This is the main factor of catalytic chemical reactions using ultrasonic vibrating rods.

Secondary effects of ultrasound, such as mechanical oscillation, emulsification, diffusion and smashing, are conducive to the full mixing of reactants in all directions. Using high-power energy-gathering transducer, the ultrasonic vibrating rod can make the substance move violently and accelerate the transfer and diffusion of substances, which can replace the traditional mechanical stirring. Of course, in practical application with the use of electric agitator, the effect of accelerating reaction is better.
