Ultrasound welding is to produce high frequency friction and heat on the surface of the contact gap of the solder under pressure through the ultrasonic vibration generated by the transducer, so as to achieve the purpose of thermal fusion welding. Ultrasound energy-accumulating transducer is a kind of high-power ultrasonic transducer working in gap or pulse. Usually, the instantaneous peak power is used to calculate its power.

 

Attention should be paid to the use of ultrasonic welding transducers:

1. The frequencies of ultrasonic transducer, horn and tool head should be matched. Generally speaking, the frequency of horn and tool head should be slightly lower than that of transducer. The connection surface should be vertical and flat, and the torsion force should be appropriate.

2. The welding of electrode sheet of ultrasonic transducer should be reliable and covered with shock absorber.

3. The temperature of the ultrasonic transducer should be lower than 60, and the input power should be lower than the rated power.
